My Journey
From Pharmacology to Wellbeing
Hello, I’m Sana.
I began my career in Beirut, where I graduated in Pharmacy and later specialised in Clinical Pharmacy. My work initially focused on understanding how medicines shape the body—but I always felt an even deeper curiosity: How do our habits shape our lives?
In 2001, I moved to Florence with a suitcase full of dreams, a love for science, and a growing desire to understand human behaviour beyond prescriptions. That move marked the beginning of my shift from traditional pharmacology to a more holistic, prevention-focused vision of health.
Over the years, I have blended pharmacology, addiction science, behavioural medicine, and lifestyle change to support people in achieving long-term transformation. My professional path includes collaborations with the World Health Organization, the Uppsala Monitoring Centre, pediatric research hospitals, international schools, and global addiction-prevention agencies.
Each experience strengthened my belief that sustainable wellbeing comes from understanding—not judging—our patterns.
A Turning Point
That Changed Everything
During my International Master’s in Addiction Studies (IPAS), I experienced a moment that reshaped my entire approach to health and healing.
I recognised addiction within myself, specifically, food addiction.
It was unexpected, humbling, and transformative.
Understanding my own behavioral patterns has enabled me to support others with deeper empathy, greater clarity, and evidence-based tools that can be applied in everyday life. This awareness has become the foundation of my multidisciplinary approach to behavioral wellbeing, addiction awareness, and habit transformation.
My Mission
I believe the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection.
My mission is to support you in deepening self-awareness, understanding your patterns, and reconnecting with your authentic self so change can emerge from alignment, not force.
I want every person I support to feel seen, empowered, and capable of growth.
I also bring this work into well-being programs, workshops, and team training, supporting both individuals and organizations in creating more awareness, alignment, and long-term sustainable ways of living and working.
What I Do Today
Today, I support individuals struggling with:
- emotional eating and compulsive food behaviours
- sugar, carbohydrate, or fast-food cravings
- weight-related struggles and lifestyle habits
- dependence on nicotine, alcohol, illicit substances or prescribed medications
- behavioural addictions (compulsive relational or attachment patterns, electronics use, gaming and gambling …)
- stress-driven, repetitive patterns that feel hard to change (including negative thinking and self-defeating mental habits)
I also support individuals, teams, and communities through lifestyle and well-being initiatives:
- well-being programs designed to build awareness, autonomy, and sustainable life habits
- team training focused on enhancing clarity, engagement, and long-term performance through well-being
- workshops and preventive initiatives on mental health, healthy habits, and addiction awareness
